The show!

Well last night was the opening of our show and it went really well.  We got great feedback from the audience who all admitted to LOL'ing at some point in the proceedings, which can only be a good thing!

One of our classmates, David Hooley, took these great snaps of the show.  We only have one more performance to go - on Thursday at 9.50 - here's hoping we get as great an audience.

Lucas Petite hits the road...

We had a great time at the weekend going down to Greenock Youth Theatre and giving a little preview performance of 'The Rise and Fall of Lucas Petite' to the teenagers there.  It went down really well and everyone had a great time.

We have now had our tech rehearsal for the production at the Arches, getting ready to head out right now for dress rehearsal and then opening night!!!

More great pics....

We had Rachel Handshaw back with us today, taking some time off from being a movie star, and the play is really coming together nicely. Check out these awesome pics!

Props...

We had our first try out today with the props made by Megan Yeomans.  They are ridiculously oversized and cartoonish and look great!  The pic above is from the bar that Lucas finds himself in after agreeing to  go have a drink with God.  It features Amy Ludwigsen singing an original song that sets the mood for the club and sends Lucas into raptures.

With only a couple of rehearsals left the show is really starting to pick up the pace and we hope that people are going to laugh throughout.

One final pic, I won't tell you what's happening here as it will give the story away, but it's deep man.  Real deep.

A new comic-book intro

Lucas Petite is very much like a comic book. Here's a wee teaser trailer we made with artwork by Stuart McGregor.

...and a new video.

Here's a very short wee video about what we did in rehearsal today.

Some new pics and things

Here are some lovely new pics taken today from our rehearsal room.  We spent most of our time working on a dance sequence for Pica, Joe and Amy to do - it's kind of showing them trying to rob a museum and kind of just a ridiculous diversion from the vacuum of modern life.
